INTRODUCTION

Let me introduce you to Lincoln County Hunting Co., LLC and answer questions you may have about hunting with us.  If you have any other questions not answered in this letter please feel free to contact me at 505-649-1952
Lincoln County Hunting Co., LLC is owned by myself and my best friend Dan Bell.  We grew up together and between us have 30 combined years of hunting and guiding in Corona, NM.  Our main ranch for our hunts is 32,000 acres of prime mule deer and antelope hunting area.  The mule deer harvest success rate on this ranch has been 90-100% on deer ranging from 140-170 B&C deer and 45-50% on deer above 180 B&C for the past 15 years.  This ranch is home to deer in the 200 B&C class but will require a hunter that is willing to work hard for this trophy.  Our guides are committed to hunting the way the client would like to hunt.

History of the Ranch

The ranch land that we hunt is located in the heart of Lincoln County and both the land and the county are rich in history.  This ranch has been home to hunters for over 20,000 years, as evidenced by petroglyphs on the ranch depicting wild game hunts.  It was the birthplace of Smokey the Bear, as well as home to Billy the Kid for a short time.  Black Jack Ketchum, one of New Mexico’s last outlaws to be hung, actually hid out on the ranch where you will hunt.
My partner, Dan Bell, is a 5th generation rancher on this land.  Not only is he a successful rancher but he is also committed to making this one of the best land areas for hunting mule deer and antelope in the country.

Ranch Demographics

The main ranch is 32,000 acres of private land with an elevation ranging from 6,300 to 7,500 feet above sea level.  We will hunt the lower country through grassy plains, deep canyons, cedar foothills, and the higher rugged mountain country.  It is located about 14 miles south of Corona, NM having a population of approximately 300 for a 50 mile radius.
